The Global Association of English Studies is an academic body that intends to bring together scholars, professionals and practitioners working in the fields of English language, linguistics, literature and cultural studies from across the world. The GAES was constituted in 2014 with an objective to establish an international platform for the global scholarship to connect, to collaborate and to contribute to the development and enrichment of English Studies. The GAES has been able to introduce three world-class Research Journals - the Global Journal of English Studies, the Global Journal of Literary Studies, and Englishes Today - focusing on various sub-disciplines of English studies across the world today.
